The 2025 Explorer introduces some long-awaited updates! Some, like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, are updates that customers have been expecting. Others, like the all-new Ford Digital Experience, are happy surprises. All but the Explorer’s entry-level Active trim model now include the hands-free BlueCruise driving system. This technology lets your SUV do the driving for you on pre-mapped divided highways!

As the first Ford model to introduce the new Ford Digital Experience infotainment setup, the 2025 Explorer comes standard with a 13.2-inch central touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. The redesigned interior showcases this new technology, creating a driver-friendly dash that puts intuitively placed controls within easy reach.

In addition to its tech-savvy new interior, the 2025 Explorer introduces sleek new exterior styling. Shoppers will browse a new list of trim models (the base Active, stylish ST-Line, ultra-fast ST, and premium Platinum) for the option best suited to their sense of adventure!

The newly refreshed Explorer is available as four trim models: the base Active, sporty-looking ST-Line, performance-based ST, and top-of-the-line Platinum!

Drivers who want a handsomely equipped, family-friendly SUV at a reasonable price will love the Active. Not only is its $39,755 MSRP a great fit for your budget, but it also comes standard with modern safety aids, smartphone-compatible infotainment features, and a standard Class III towing package (helping you tow max loads of 5,000 pounds).

Looking for more style? The ST-Line delivers it in spades, with black exterior trim, 20-inch wheels, and red brake calipers. This three-row SUV also enhances your tech experience. For starters, it comes standard with the subscription-based BlueCruise hands-free driving system. Other premium tech features include a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system and an upgraded safety package featuring a 360-degree camera!

For standard V6 power, choose the performance-based Explorer ST. Not only does this SUV supply an incredible 400-horsepower output, but it also enhances your drive with an exclusive sport-tuned suspension and performance brakes. Its upscale cabin features unique Miko seating with red accent stitching and ST logos. Comfort upgrades include heated and ventilated multi-contour front seats with Active Motion massage!

Although the Platinum doesn’t include the ST’s performance enhancements, it’s available with the 400-horsepower V6 as an option.
